Adoration:

An important thing to remember when praying through your prayer of adoration every day is to acknowledge the many aspect of who God is. Today, as it relates to our topic of prayer emphasis, I’d like to remember that God is omnipotent, which means ALL-powerful. There is no one else that word should ever be used for since there is only one who is all-powerful, the might creator God. (Isaiah 40:28-31, Matthew 19:26)

Confession:

A sin we greatly overlook many times is the sin of disobedience, or not doing something that has been commanded to us by God. There may things in your own life that you know God has called you to do that you have been avoiding. You know what those things and now is a great time to confess them to the Lord. Even though he already knows, by speaking them aloud you being reminded to be renewed in a path of obedience. (John 14:15)

Today’s Prayer requests:

  1. Pray that God would give you and the rest of our church spirit of expectation, believing that God will do so much more than we can ask or think.

  2. Pray that God would increase our awareness of specific things that need to be addressed in our families, our communities and ourselves that would hinder the work He would do through us. Pray for those things to be settled so He can move in us and through us.

  3. Pray that we would not limit ourselves to what we think we can do, but trust that God will give us the ability, skills and people necessary to do what He wants us to do.

  4. Pray that we would see such a mighty move of the Holy Spirit that in this next year thousands of people in our area are saved or re-committed to following Jesus.
