Who is Jesus?

WHO IS JESUS?

WHO IS JESUS?

Jesus’ story begins at the very beginning. The Bible tells us that He was present and active in creation—Jesus is God (John 1:1–5). He spoke the world into existence and called it “good.” But humanity rebelled (Genesis 3), and with that came sin, suffering, and separation from God.

The good news? God didn’t leave us there. Jesus entered our broken world to rescue and redeem us (John 1:14). Fully God and fully man, He lived a perfect life and willingly took the penalty of sin on Himself—so that we could be restored to God and receive eternal life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:15–20).

Jesus is not just our Savior—He is the risen King.

WHY DOES JESUS MATTER?

WHY DOES JESUS MATTER?

Sin separates us from a holy God—and all of us fall short (Romans 3:23). But Jesus matters because He took our place. He bore the weight of our sin on the cross, died, and rose again in victory (1 Corinthians 15:3–5).

He did this out of love—to restore what was lost, to bring us back into relationship with God, and to give us eternal life (Ephesians 2:4–6).

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME?

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME?

God offers you the free gift of salvation through Jesus. You don’t have to earn it—you simply receive it by faith (Ephesians 2:8–9). That means turning from sin, trusting in Jesus, and surrendering your life to Him.

“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9

Jesus is calling you to follow Him. How will you respond?
