STANDING IN THE GAP FOR AMERICA ON HER 250TH ANNIVERSARY

Day 6 (Friday, 10/2/26) -- Walk by faith

"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught..." (Colossians 2:6-7).

Every Christian arrives in the Kingdom the same way, by faith. Therefore, we are called to walk by faith. The situation in America, during our 250th anniversary, looks bleak. As Jesus warned us, Christians are getting choked off by the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. People would rather be subject to a godless nation with nuclear bombs than to have gas prices rise. Christians are acting like there is no hope and living in despair. There is no protection against the fiery darts of the wicked one when we stop believing in God's ability to heal any hurt, reverse any course of action, and help any nation. Let's add to truth, righteousness, and sharing the gospel, the shield of faith.

Prayer: "Lord, I received You into my life by faith. Forgive me when I doubt Your power to change events in our nation and alter the course of history. Help me to pray boldly for our nation to reject those who want to harm America. Cause me to believe what I pray. When I doubt help me to be like the dad in Mark 9:24: "Lord, I believe: help my unbelief."
