STANDING IN THE GAP FOR AMERICA ON HER 250TH ANNIVERSARY

Day 3 (Tuesday, 9/29/26) -- How can we know the truth? (Part 2)

"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist..." (Ephesians 6:14).

         Once we know that we have a relationship with Jesus, we must keep on the belt of truth. We, as believers, know The Truth, Jesus. We must share the truth, and we must tell the truth. When we know, share and tell the truth, we will be better equipped to recognize the truth and tell the difference between the truth and the lies we are being fed.

         Be careful not to believe polls. Polls are often designed to tell us how to think instead of measuring what we are thinking. Their purpose is often to discourage Christians from taking our stand and voting. Follow Joshua 1:9. Be strong. Do not be afraid nor dismayed.

Prayer: "Jesus, help me to put on the belt of truth today and every day. I know that there are forces that want to discourage believers and cause us to take our eyes off You. With Your help, I will not bow down to those forces, but lift You up and kneel before the Lord, my God, our maker. You are our hope and You are truth. Please come against the forces of the enemy that pronounce lies and want to make our lives miserable. Thank You for giving us abundant life."
