STANDING IN THE GAP FOR AMERICA ON HER 250TH ANNIVERSARY

Day 2 (Monday, 9/28/26) -- How can we know the truth? (Part 1)

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"(John 14:6)

         It is often difficult to tell when media outlets, newspapers, and politicians are telling the truth. People often ask: "How do I tell the truth from the lies?" The short answer is apparent to almost everyone who reads today's prayer guide. Do you have a relationship with Jesus? Jesus said that He is truth! Those who are not sure if they know Jesus, the truth, can simply look at John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." The four bolded words show us to know God is love which is seen in Jesus, the gift He gave. We must believe in Jesus and we can have everlasting life.

Prayer: Today's prayer may be for you or someone you know. It is a prayer of salvation. "Lord, I know You love me and gave your Son, Jesus, to die for me. I have put my trust in You (or, 'I need to put my trust in You') and have everlasting life. Thank You for saving me and showing me Your truth."
