Praying it Forward

Adoration:

            “O God You are my God. Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water” (Psalm 63:1). Father, God, create and keep a desire in me to search after You. “I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of Your marvelous works” (Psalm 9:1).

            “You are worthy. O Lord, to receive glory, honor, and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created” (Revelation 4:11). I honor You with my lips today, help me to honor You with my life.

 

Confession:

Has your daily confession caused you to be more sensitive to wrong words and actions that come into your life? God’s goal is to be clean and be open to conviction from His Spirit. Keep on asking God to forgive any wrong word you may have spoken; any wrong deed you may have done; anything you did not say that God wanted you to say; anything you did not do that God wanted you to do. Remember to claim 1 John 1:9. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

 

Today’s Prayer requests:

1.     Father, help me to look at the fields in and around our community to see the people You are sending here for us to reach.

2.     Jesus, give me the words to speak to share a witness for You. “That the sharing of my faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in Christ Jesus” (Philemon, verse 6).

3.     Holy Spirit, keep our church unified behind the purposes of reaching the lost and discipling believers to continue living for You and telling others about You.

4.     Ask God to pour a special blessing on every person who pauses today to “Pray it Forward”.
